Dorina DAISY Reader 1.0 (DDR 1.0) for Windows
DDReader is DAISY 3 reading software developed by the Dorina Nowill Foundation for the Blind. It is available in three languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English, is free to use and share, and is the first free Portuguese DAISY 3.0 reader! DDR is a Firefox add-on; Firefox must be installed to use it.

Odt2dtbook is an OpenOffice.org Writer extension, enabling to export in DAISY 3 format, including support of mathematical content conforming to the MathML standard. Version 1.0.1, released October 26, is a stable version which is greatly improved over the current beta version 0.0.5 which was the beta released this spring. Odt2dtbook V1.0.1 provides:

VR Stream 2.0 multi-lingual versions
Multilingual versions of VR Stream 2.0 were announced October 10th. Versions for Danish, Dutch, French, German, Norwegian and Swedish can be downloaded from the VR Stream page on the HumanWare website. Information about HumanWare and links are provided in the list of DAISY Members and Friends.
The Mobile DAISY Player V2.0 includes support for DAISY 2.0 and 3.0 formats, allowing access to a wider variety of content and providers. It automatically unpacks Bookshare.org books, making it unnecessary to install and run a separate application just to decompress Bookshare files. Code Factory joined the DAISY Consortium in September 2008.
Activated Content .NET Audio Watermarking Library can be used to watermark your DAISY files, either for downloads or books on disc. Activated Content joined the DAISY Consortium in August 2008.
